Lady Wildcats 2005-06 Basketball

The 2005-06 Lady Cats Basketball Team finished the season with a 9-17 record and was eliminated from the District 7-A Tournament with a loss to TSSAA State Tournament Representative, Red Boiling Springs. The Lady Cats lost several games that they had the opportunity to win, including 3 overtime losses 2 at the hands of Gordonsville. The Lady Cats could have finished the season with as many as 7 more wins. Jennifer Schlienz went down with a ACL knee injury that kept out from January to the rest of the season. She did rehab the knee and had a successful season in softball where she played in the TSSAA State Tournament for the Lady Cats Softball Team. The Lady Cats had 3 seniors: Ashley Harris(4), Jennifer Schlienz(4), and Chelsie Philips(2), and Ciarra Jackson,mgr(4), they will be missed.
