Monterey Lady Cats Basketball

Camp Picture( July 10th, 2003). Probably the smallest team I have ever taken to basketball camp. We actually finished the season with 8 players, (Kathryn Kniep not pictured). The Team finished 14-14 and was the first team that in the last 4 years not to make the region tournament. In District 7-A nothing is a given and everything has to be achieved. The Team finished 5th during the regular season and had to travel to Red Boiling Springs for the first round of the district tournament. The Lady Cats were upset after leading by as much as 10 on a last second shot by Whitney Jordan with 1.2 seconds reamaining in the game.
